Needing some for my m1010 i was able to find some information about the alternator belts cross referencing the part number from the maintenance pub. Wire for the card and the tm wiring diagram for its position is wrong.

Cucv alternator wiring diagram. Black wire to small stud at left. Notice the direction of current flowing in center tap wire 8 red 2a sxl. Everything is stock cucv show full signature. Pictorial diagram showing charging circuit wiring. I havent fooled with the wiring on it. An unpainted bolt is a good example. Like i have said before.
Both altenators are brand new. As depicted in the tm 9 2320 289 20 figure f 9 and connected on the 1985 m1009 cucv. If you have a two wired alternator place the metal sensor on the end of the black wire onto the metal part of the vehicle. Red and brown plug to two prongs on top this photo shows one of the four bolts that must be removed to separate the alternator into front and rear case halves. 28v red wire and orange gauge wire to red insulated lug upper left. Bottom alternator belt 42 6921 650 width 51250 inches outside length.
